Two minds capable of chemically uniting the entrepreneurial spirit with boldness and creativity, founded Miracema-Nuodex on May 10, 1954, in the city of Campinas/SP.
Over the decades, the company has become more professional, expanded, developed solutions for various segments, obtained important certifications and undergone fundamental strategic changes for the prosperity of the business.

TIMELINE

1970s

Acquisition of Nuodex SA provided new technologies in Paint Additives. It began the construction of the new factory and the manufacture of paint driers. In this decade, it was adopted the new corporate name Miracema-Nuodex S.A. Indústrias Químicas. Fatty Acid Distillation and Hydrogenation Unit I begins operating.

1980s

Acquisition of an area of 72 thousand m², expanding the industrial park to 100 thousand m² and installation of Fatty Acid Distillation and Hydrogenation Unit II. Became the first formulator of biocides in the country, with the license and technology transfer from the German company Bode Chemie Hamburg, to manufacture in Brazil various types of bactericides and fungicides for application in paints and lubricants.

1990s

Development of technology for lubricants and greases, replacing lead, a heavy and toxic metal by bismuth, a “green” metal. It was the first chemical industry in Brazil to achieve ISO 9002 certification on December 4, 1992. It began supplying cobalt-based catalysts to the world's leading manufacturers of radial tires and rubber.

2000s

Enlargement of laboratories, construction and modernization of Liquid and Gaseous Effluent Treatment Plants (ETEL and ETEG), acquisition of the Thin-Film Evaporator system and succession of the Executive Board to sons André and Stefan Rohr marked the decade.

2010s

Period of process improvements, implementation of SAP ERP, intensification of research for high-performance lubricants, logistics restructuring, structural reforms and warehouse management. Installation in Catalão/GO of a mining laboratory focused on support and implementation of research projects, development and innovation of reagents and processes for mineral processing.

2020s

Future in transformation

Acquisition of two more multipurpose reactors, optimizing service to different customer and market scenarios. Installation of Distribution Center and the conversion of burners to LPG, reducing gas emission levels. Implementation of Corporate Governance and Compliance, projects aimed at management transparency and risk reduction through accountability, corporate responsibility and equity. Beginning of the migration of the current SAP ERP to SAP-S/4HANA.
